The real impact of what it means to have devastated an entire population begins to be seen little by little, as each of the 1,200 inhabitants return to see what was left of Mexico Beach after the passage of Hurricane Michael. Michael made landfall on Wednesday, October 10 as a powerful hurricane with maximum winds of 250 kilometers per hour. In that way it became one of the three strongest storms in the history of hurricanes in the United States, and the most catastrophic in the northwest area of the state of Florida in the last 50 years.
